Grey Matters
Grey Matters is a defense contractor for the Department of Defense. I was hired to create a logo and new website to showcase all of their capabilities with the flare to stand out amongst the competition. In addition to the branding and website, I designed several app logos for their projects.
Process
Grey Matters owner is a huge fan of chess. He wanted something that would represent defense, and use his favorite piece, the rook. I tried a few different variations of combining the rook with a shield, until we landed on the shield, rook, star icon. Blue and red was chosen as his brand colors to show strength and trustworthiness.
